Detective Lieutenant Michael Stokes of the 34th Precinct is having a bad week. He has been nearly cut in half by a drug enraged xenomorph. He has a homicide of an alien girl that points to involvement by members of his own department, and his wife is ready and quite capable of killing him if he gets involved. The clock is ticking on the case that will lead to interstellar drug dealing, mercenaries, alien civil war, murder, and department corruption. It looks like just another week on the job for the detectives in the 34th Precinct of Terra 4.
